The world’s preoccupation with superheroes, such as Batman, Spiderman, Superwoman, and the present popular X-Men is one that has existed for many years. People like the idea of someone dedicating their life to saving the world. Many superheroes have their origin in comic books. Batman is one such superhero. Developed in 1939 by Bill Finger as a detective comic strip, Batman has the ability to fly and has an arsenal of tools. Although Batman started as a vicious killer in his comic strip, he would later become the mild-mannered superhero who usually handed criminals over to the Gotham City police department.
