Snows Lake Vineyard has taken advantage of the high elevated volcanic soils of Lake County California to produce an exciting new addition to the wine world. Their Snows Lake One 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon and Snows Lake Two 2004 Cabernet Blend have been labeled by wine critics as rich, and intense. Although a winner by taste and a potential success by brand, the red hills just north of Napa Valley was only recently recognized for a suitable vineyard location. The Mayacamas Mountains were not considered the best conditions for harvesting grapes for wine production.
